Find the math in everyday moments.

Neighborhood Academy is a membership library of math conversations and activities for grades K–8. Find questions to ask, ideas to try, and learning connections for your child’s grade, built around the moments your family already shares.

Hi, I’m Jessica

I’m a math and science educator, curriculum author, and mom. Through teaching elementary and middle school, writing curriculum, and supporting teachers, I’ve spent my career helping children make sense of what they’re learning and see how it connects to their lives.

Becoming a parent has given me another place to put those ideas into practice. Cooking, playing, running errands, and exploring together all give us opportunities to ask questions and make discoveries.

I created Everywhere Learning to help families connect what kids learn in school with the life they share, with simple ideas for what to ask, notice, and try together.

Learning that fits your family’s day.
